Who we are
Luky & Co ("we") is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about anything on this page at hello@lukyandco.uk.
What we collect
- Founding list: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
- Shop waiting lists: your email address and which product lines you asked to hear about (food, grooming, or collars and leads).
- Your dog's profile, if you save a plan: name, sex, breed, age, expected adult size, neutered status, whether they're pregnant or nursing, weight, healthy weight, body shape, exercise, where they live, other pets at home, current food, how they eat, meals and treats, raw or cooked preference, freezer space, foods they can't have, upset tummies, conditions a vet has diagnosed, medication or supplements, recent changes in weight or appetite, and what you're hoping for, plus the recipe and expected price we showed you and, if you answered it, whether that price works for you. Please don't type anything about yourself or other people into the "Anything else?" box. We don't ask about the health of anyone in your home.
- Where you found us, if you arrive through a tracked link, such as a QR code at a dog show or on a partner's card. We save it with your sign-up.
- Emails you send us, and our replies.
- Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, how far people get through the quiz, rough location (country or city), device and browser. We never send your email or your dog's name to analytics.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security, such as IP address and time of request.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for automated decisions with legal or similar effects. The quiz suggestion is a starting point, not veterinary advice.
Who we share it with
- Our email platform (Klaviyo), which stores the founding list and sends our emails.
- Our transactional email provider (Resend), which sends us a copy of each sign-up.
- Our website host (Vercel).
- Google, for analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Founding list and dog profile data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 24 months after you join if we haven't launched by then. Emails: up to 2 years after our last exchange. Analytics: 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link). Email hello@lukyandco.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Children
The founding list is for adults. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or carer to sign up.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and email the founding list about anything significant, such as when subscriptions open.
